Pictures from tests

See below for some pictures from the tests performed before summer holidays.

A gas consisting of a mixture of carbon dioxide and methane flows through our CryoSep unit. The pictures show how we gradually build up ice crystals of carbon dioxide. When our cooling unit is full, by changing pressure and temperature, we convert the ice crystals into liquid which is collected in a storage tank as liquid carbon dioxide. At the same time as the carbon dioxide is frozen solid, the methane gas continues through the cooling unit to be further cooled in the next step until it is transformed into liquid methane (liquid biogas or LBG) and collected in another storage tank.
