Visit to the plant’s control room

This part of the plant has not been shown before. In this clip, our Commissioning Manager, Mikael Kristensson, speaks from the control room about how we remove hydrogen sulfide from the biogas, compress, cool, and dry it. After that, the methane is separated from the carbon dioxide, liquefied, and stored – ready to be used in heavy transport, shipping, and industry where the climate benefits are greatest.

Did you know that by liquefying the gas you can transport up to four times as much energy compared to compressed gas? This means fewer transports and a significant improvement in climate performance.
